Cookie Policy

Effective July 17, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or whether you're signed in. Similar technologies (like browser local storage) serve the same purpose and are covered by this policy wherever we refer to "cookies."

2. Our Approach to Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies only — set directly by apexadvisory.global, not by an outside advertising or analytics company. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or social media tracking widgets. Our page-view analytics are collected on our own servers, are not tied to a persistent advertising identifier, and are never sold or shared with data brokers.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

  • Essential — required for the site to function: keeping you signed in, remembering your cookie choice, and remembering your language selection. These cannot be disabled through our cookie banner because the site would not work correctly without them (though you can still block them at the browser level — see Section 5).
  • Personalization — optional cookies that improve your experience, such as remembering recently viewed research. These are only set if you choose "Accept All" in the cookie banner.

5. Managing Cookies

You can manage your cookie preferences for this site at any time using the choice you made in our cookie banner (clear your cookies and reload the site to see the banner again). Separately, every modern browser lets you view, delete, and block cookies at the browser level — consult your browser's help documentation (typically under Settings → Privacy) for instructions specific to Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. Note that blocking essential cookies at the browser level will prevent you from staying signed in to APEX Connect.

6. Choosing "Essential Only"

Choosing "Essential Only" keeps the site fully functional — you can still sign in, register for events, and browse — but we won't remember personalization signals like recently viewed research.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting this signal, we do not currently respond to it differently than we treat all visitors — namely, by using only the first-party, non-advertising cookies described above regardless of this setting.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy can be directed to info@apexadvisory.global, or via our contact form. For more on how we handle personal information generally, see our Privacy Policy.
